The Rhinoplasty Procedure
On the day that you schedule to have your surgery, you’ll meet with your surgeon before the procedure to discuss what’s about to happen and adjust any last minute questions or concerns. What Can I Expect During Recovery And Followup?

At the end of the first two weeks, the bruising should be healed and the swelling should also be reduced significantly. It is advised that in the first few weeks of recovery that you avoid high impact exercise and activities that can lead to facial swelling. Gentle exercises are recommended to reduce the risk of blood clot formation. After approximately six weeks 60% of the swelling should be reduced, 80% of the swelling should be deduced at around six months and 90% of the swelling within a year, and ultimately the final result should be seen two years after having the surgery.
